Description

By the end of the year the student should be able to

  1. Compare and contrast between Messengers and Prophets, state their purpose, and believe in them all.

  2. State that Muhammad is the last Messenger and Prophet, and enumerate his privileges.

  3. Identify the sixth pillar of Iman “Belief in the Devine Books” and in particular the Qur’aan as the final revelation.

  4. Acknowledge the conditions of ‘ibaadah. And avoid following bid’ah.

  5. State the meaning, status, and importance of Ihsaan.

  6. Learn about masjid Qubaa’ and al-Masjid An-Nabawi

  7. Narrate the stories about the Prophet’s Hijrah to Madinah and the establishment of the community.

  8. Summarize the history of Uthmaan; his acceptance of Islam, his qualities, his compilation of the Qur’aan, and his khilaafah.

  9. Distinguish the history of ‘Ali ibn Abee Taalib; his acceptance of Islam, his qualities, and his khilaafah.

  10. Become acquainted with the last two pillars of Islam; Fasting and Hajj

  11. Acquire the proper manners at social gatherings.

  12. Develop a sense of being thankful for the blessing of Islam.

  13. Memorize and practice the remembrances and realize their value in Islam.

  14. Memorize Soorat al- Muzzamil, and Soorat al-Jinn

  15. Recite from soorat at-Toor until soorat al-Hadeed
